Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish all your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and designed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
