Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing great height and versatility. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual using it to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is designed to lift workers is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a chain or strap is utilized to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
