Genie Zoom Boom Oregon

Genie Zoom Boom Oregon

Bud Bushnell established Genie Industries during 1966, after he bought the manufacturing rights to a material lift that operated on compressed air. The name Genie came from the "magic in the bottle" which was used to lower and raise the hoist. This device greatly impressed customers and hence, the name was established.

Genie expanded operations and established itself into different new markets, as the need for work lifts and platforms grew. Over time, when the demand for new machines to meet numerous applications grew, the company made itself known in many new markets. For example, Genie went into production with stick booms, telehandlers, man-lifts, articulated booms and light towers.

Genie decided to obtain a partner who had the same values as a result of the economic downturn in the beginning of the 2000s, when they partnered together with Terex. This company has a history obtaining machine manufacturers all around the world who proved to be a good business match. Genie Industries was sold during the year 2002 and became a part of Terex Corporation.

Because of the Genie name and its solid reputation in the workplace, it was decided to maintain the Genie brand as part of the Terex Aerial Work Platforms. This was just decided after the initial few years following the sale. Hence, all Genie machines continue to be sold under the Genie brand.

Genie takes pride in listening to their clients. The company is devoted to continually improving efficiency and quality and is also dedicated to lessening waste. Even long after the sale has been closed, the company concentrates on providing exceptional support. These are the very work practices that have made Genie a trusted brand over the last decades and continue to keep their reputation for top-of-the-line and quality machinery.

Genie's DC and Bi-Energy equipment are emission-free, quiet equipment capable of working in delicate work settings. Where the machinery should be driven significant distances, like for instance in industrial situations, the Genie bi-energy system combines the power of a diesel-powered generator along with the benefits of a 48V DC machine.

Compared to any of the various types of aerial platforms, telescopic booms offer greater horizontal reach overall. These machines are great for limited access areas in construction and other industrial settings. The Genie Telescopic S booms have been engineered to offer utmost productivity. These machinery deliver supreme traction and the drive speed you need in order to travel around the job area and work site.
