The lift truck application all around the globe has grown in insurmountable measures when it comes to the manufacturing and warehousing industries. A forklift is a motorized industrial truck used for raising and transporting items. The machinery has slowly changed and today there are numerous modern designs for moving and lifting objects. Over the past decades, the machinery has really grown and the designs have changed so there are a lot of modern designs and a variety of trucks to meet each and every particular application. Loads are capable of reaching and lifting to greater heights than ever before.

The lift truck is available in a huge array of power types like gas powered, diesel, electric, diesel and liquid propane or LP units. The load capacities of these units vary significantly as there are a lot of manufacturers designing and building them. For example, some models can reach a height of more than 10,000 kg or over 3000.

The forklift truck features include an overhead guard, mast and axles, the counterweight, and the frame of the truck to which the base of the power source and all aforementioned things are attached. On the rear side there is a counterweight connected to the truck. This counterweight counterbalances the load which is being carried in order to keep the machinery stable.

The equipment's movements are dictated by the operator who sits inside the cab. The overhead feature likely consists of a metal roof made to protect the operator from falling things. Hydraulic tilt cylinders mounted to the mast and the frame. These tilts pivot the mast so as to engage the load. The mast is a vertical assembly which lowers and lifts the load with the interlocking rails to provide lateral stability.

There are numerous warehouses or businesses in the manufacturing fields which utilize forklifts for lifting and transportation every day. Now, there are many different brand new and second-hand forklifts available in the market at competitive prices.
