Forklift accidents are usually due to the careless use of the forklift. This happens when the operator of the forklift is not properly trained in safety procedures. Never let anybody on a forklift who isn't trained to utilize the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a place which is visible all forklift safety procedures.
Instead of going through training because staff are required to, they should have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer must help employees understand the significance of correct training. Let them realize that they could kill or injure not only themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that all your employees go through training seriously.
