Narrow Aisle Important Parts Carriage & Reach Assembly
Both the reach assembly and carriage on a narrow aisle truck will go through significant amounts of stress in a full shift. The high durability of these components is completely required in order to assure that the forklift maintains high production levels. Yale reach mechanisms are particularly made using heavy-duty parts in order to extend the component's total durability and long life. For more durability, at the end of the stroke, the reach assembly is cushioned. This particular design feature helps to provide excellent durability and maintain operator ergonomics. To be able to force rigidity and durability by resisting side to side forces, the reach assembly rear carrier is mounted on angled load rollers.
