Propane cylinders take up little space and they can be kept either outside of a facility or inside of a storage area. NARROW-AISLE FORKLIFTS
The Class 2 forklifts consists of many types of forklift that are specifically made to be used in narrow aisles. The regular storage aisles are 12 feet wide, and this easily enables a counterbalanced forklift to turn in the aisle and put a load away. Typically, narrow aisles are 8 feet wide, while the very narrow aisles are roughly 5.5 to 6 feet wide. These narrow aisles need specialized forklifts that can put away loads without any turning at all or which are small enough to turn on a tight radius.

Narrow-Aisle Reach Trucks
The original narrow-aisle forklift is considered to be the traditional reach truck. These machines do not need a large counterweight and are thus, small enough to turn in narrow aisles. Instead, stability is provided by the outrigger arms that extend in front of the forklifts. Nonetheless, depending on the storage configuration, these outrigger arms can prevent the lift trucks from getting close enough to the storage rack to retrieve and deposit cargo. In order to overcome this situation, a pantograph was designed. The pantograph is a reach truck which is designed with a telescoping mechanism. This allows forks to concisely and easily reach into storage areas.
The best environment for narrow aisle forklifts is a place which has good lighting, clean floors and good traffic flow, well-maintained floor, along with sufficient turning space.
