FM GRU Tower Cranes were established during the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is situated within the biggest industrial place within northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different kinds of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
During the year 1963, the company began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
FMgru sells and produces 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for a variety of uses and there are available units which could cover all construction requirements.
Some units provide really flexible lifting options for businesses who are constructing small buildings and private houses. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other units include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and really adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are regular tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are equipped with 12000 kg capacity. These cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are located near each other.
