Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts

Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts

The internal combustion or IC forklifts are used most frequently for indoor operations such as manufacturing, trucking, warehousing and bottling. Usually, these units use solid rubber tires known as cushion tires. The Internal Combustion forklift models can be powered either by diesel, LPG or Liquid Petroleum Gas or Dual fuel. The dual fuel models function with both LPG or Liquid Petroleum Gas and gasoline. These machines can work on either fuel but not simultaneously. IC or Internal Combustion engines are Class 4 forklifts. The engine is responsible for powering the truck, the hydraulics and all functions of the truck.

Nissan's forklift Platinum II models and the GO4 Series have lifting capacities from 3000 to 11,000 lbs. They come in units powered by LPG/gasoline or LPG or dual-fuel engines. The CARB certification on these particular engines gives them the confidence to help protect the environment as it enables the forklifts to generate low emissions. The environmental certifications like for example CARB, help employers provide cleaner and thus safer working settings for their workers.

The fuel management systems offered by Nissan, the LP/Gas combinations, provide optimum engine operation to decrease exhaust emissions and provide fantastic fuel economy at the same time. Each and every Platinum II fork truck is standard equipped with their compressive engine protection system in place to warn operators in case of excessive heat or a severe drop in oil pressure. This system helps to extend your drive train and engine life to help keep your lift truck investment working at its optimum ability.

The dual fuel models are making a splash in the industry because lots of companies are trying to be as "green" as possible and as environmentally friendly and efficient as they could. It's also a great idea to rent the equipment for a while to see if you like the way it handles prior to purchasing one. There are a lot of different choices within the business nowadays and with a little research, you could select the best unit for your particular use.
