Daewoo Diesel Forklifts

Daewoo Diesel Forklifts

A lift truck is an important piece of machinery within the material handling business. Also known as a powered industrial truck, a lift truck is utilized to carry and move materials from one place to another. These trucks changed the manufacturing and the warehousing businesses. Today they are considered to be essential for material handling and are utilized for a wide array of applications.

A forklift is a machine that is driven by an operator who uses the truck to move cargo around a worksite or warehouse. Companies which own their own lift trucks must maintain the machinery to ensure they have a long lifespan. Like any machine parts, forklift components, are subject to wear and tear and would become worn over time. In order to make certain the lift truck functions efficiently and safely, you should replace damaged or worn parts occasionally. Every lift truck part is made for a particular purpose. Below is a list of several lift truck attachments and their purposes:

Forklift Fork Positioner: The forklift fork positioner is a hydraulic attachment which helps to position the forks. It can move the forks either at the same time or separately. Without the forklift fork positioner, the lift truck operator must manually adjust forklift forks for various sizes of cargo.

Side Shifter: The hydraulic side shift attachment enables the operator to laterally shift both the backrest and the forklift forks. This kind of attachment makes it easier to position the cargo without having to change the position of the truck.

Pole Attachments: These long metal poles are intended to lift carpet rolls. The poles work better for this purpose compared to forklift forks.

Telescopic Forklift Forks: Telescoping forks are hydraulic attachments that allow the operator to both load and unload from one side. The telescoping forks can handle two pallets of various sizes at the same time. This specific kind of attachment is great for handling pallets in 'double deep racking'.
